先祖近藤祐慶重通ト申者俗名近藤三郎右衛門ト申候而
朝倉義景ニ相勤申候先祖ハ唐人ニテ陳外郎透頂香ト申
者ニテ候故姓ヲ陳氏ニ仕来候外郎家代々京都ニ罷有候
三郎右衛門義ハ朝倉家滅亡之後当国丸岡ニ罷有祐慶ト
名ヲ改眼病ノ秘方家伝ニ有之目医師ヲ以家業ト仕来候
祐慶実子無之当国長崎ノ城主黒坂備中守老臣志田何某
ト申者ノ子ヲ養子ニ仕村上宗元重正ト申候志田何某ハ
加越闘諍ノ頃討死仕候故宗元流浪仕越後国村上ニ暫ク
罷有候ニ付村上ヲ称号ト仕候其子村上祐円重勝其子村
上玄昌重清其子村上祐節重信其子当村上三悦義重ニテ
候京江戸小田原外郎家皆同姓ニテ候

当村上三悦義重《割書：本国生国共に越前｜姓は陳氏》
先祖は近藤祐慶重通と申す者で、俗名を近藤三郎右衛門と申し、
朝倉義景に仕えていた。先祖は唐人で、陳外郎透頂香と申す
者であったため、姓を陳氏としてきた。外郎家は代々京都に住んでいた。
三郎右衛門は朝倉家滅亡の後、当国丸岡に住み、祐慶と
名を改め、眼病の秘方が家伝にあったので、目医師を家業としてきた。
祐慶には実子がなく、当国長崎の城主黒坂備中守の老臣志田某
と申す者の子を養子にし、村上宗元重正と申した。志田某は
加越闘諍の頃討死したため、宗元は流浪し、越後国村上に暫く
住んでいたことから、村上を称号とした。その子村上祐円重勝、その子村
上玄昌重清、その子村上祐節重信、その子が当村上三悦義重で
ある。京都・江戸・小田原の外郎家は皆同姓である。

Current Murakami San'etsu Yoshishige《Note: Both home province and birth province are Echizen｜Family name is Chinshi》
The ancestor Kondō Yukei Shigemichi, commonly known as Kondō Saburōemon,
served Asakura Yoshikage. The ancestor was Chinese, named Chin Gairō Tōchōkō,
and thus the family name has been Chinshi (Chen clan). The Gairō family has resided in Kyoto for generations.
After the fall of the Asakura house, Saburōemon lived in Maruoka in this province, changed
his name to Yukei, and made his profession as an eye doctor, having a secret family remedy for eye diseases.
Yukei had no biological children, so he adopted the son of a certain Shida,
a senior retainer of Kurosaka Bitchū-no-kami, lord of Nagasaki castle in this province, naming him Murakami Sōgen Shigemasa. Since this Shida
died in battle during the Kaetsu Conflict, Sōgen wandered and temporarily
resided in Murakami in Echigo Province, thus adopting Murakami as his family name. His son was Murakami Yuen Shigekatsu, his son was Mura-
kami Genshō Shigekiyo, his son was Murakami Yusetsu Shigenobu, and his son is the current Murakami San'etsu Yoshishige.
The Gairō families of Kyoto, Edo, and Odawara all share the same surname.
