⑯同所（深川）の本所石原町代地より平野町添地まで一丁ほどが焼けた。このあたりは潰れ家が多い。同所の東方、六万坪より毛利新田・砂村、さらにその東は四方大破損し、潰れ家は数知れず。同所の寺町通りでは、諸宗の寺院が大破損した。浄心寺は本堂が無事であったが、寺内の三か寺・中門・表門・手水舎ともに潰れ、門前の題目石が倒れた。霊巌寺は表門が倒れ、本堂・寺内が大破した。本誓寺は大破損した。それより正覚寺橋通り、万年町、一色町、三角（さんかく）、この辺りの納屋・蔵・町家・諸寺院が多く潰れた。永代橋の左（側の）坂町、万年橋、霊雲院、海辺大工町、伊勢崎町、木場、このあたりは潰れ家が多い。平野町東西では立花様が大破した。同所の西方、奥川町、円速寺、万徳院は大破損した。南方の小名木川筋、猿江、このあたり四方は大破損したと言うばかりではなく（言葉では尽くせないほどであった）。
⑰大橋の右側は深川元町、松平遠江様の下屋敷から猿子橋まで、ことごとく潰れた。同所の左側は木下図書（の屋敷）が潰れた。安宅御船蔵は無事であった。本所一ツ目弁天は大破損した。八幡旅所、再幸寺、初音稲荷、このあたりは多く崩れた。御船蔵前丁より出火し、大仏殿・役所・迷神様・秋葉宿寺の南にある小屋敷が破損し、後に焼けた。同所の東は六軒堀、安倍川（安部川）より半丁北より出火し、南の森下町へ飛び火した。このあたりは大崩れ・焼け地が存在する。八名川町の北、六間堀通りの籾蔵が少し焼けた。この所の神明門前町は本社が残ったが、このあたり一面が焼けた。井上河内様（の屋敷）が焼けた。常盤町より焼け出し、小笠原様が少し焼けた。太田様の表長屋が少し焼けた。高橋にて（火が）止まった。この四方（の被害については次ページに続く）。

⑯In the same area (Fukagawa), from the replacement-land district (daichi) of Honjo Ishiwara-machi to the addition-land (soichi) of Hirano-machi, approximately one chō burned. Many houses collapsed in this vicinity. To the east, from Rokumantsubo through Mōri Shinden and Suna-mura, and further east still, damage was widespread in all directions, with an uncountable number of collapsed houses. Along the temple-town street (tera-machi-dōri) in this area, temples of various sects suffered major damage. At Jōshinji, the main hall was undamaged, but three sub-temples within the precincts, the inner gate, front gate, and the water ablution pavilion (temizusha) all collapsed, and the odaimoku stone monument at the gate fell over. At Reiganjji, the front gate collapsed, and the main hall and the temple precinct suffered major damage. Honseiji suffered major damage. From there, along Shōgakuji-bashi-dōri, Mannen-machi, Isshiki-machi, and Sankaku — the storehouses, godowns, townspeople's dwellings, and various temples in this area largely collapsed. To the left of Eitaibashi: Saka-machi, Mannenbashi, Reiunin, Kaibe Daiku-machi, Isesaki-machi, and Kiba — collapsed houses were numerous in these areas. In Hirano-machi, east and west, Lord Tachibana's residence suffered major damage. To the west, Okugawa-machi, Ensokuji, and Mantokuin all suffered major damage. To the south along the Onagigawa waterway, Saruen and its surroundings suffered damage so extensive in all directions that words alone cannot describe it.
⑰To the right of Ōhashi (the Great Bridge), from Fukagawa Motomachi and Lord Matsudaira Tōtōmi's lower residence (shimo-yashiki) all the way to Saruko-bashi, everything collapsed entirely. To the left, the residence of Kinoshita Zusho collapsed. The Atake government boat storage (Go-funagura) was unharmed. The Honjo Hitotsume Benten shrine suffered major damage. The Hachiman temporary shrine (tabidokoro), Saikōji, and Hatsune Inari — many structures in this area collapsed. A fire broke out from the street in front of the Go-funagura, and the small residences to the south of the Daibutsuden (Great Buddha Hall), the government office, the Meijin-sama shrine, and Akiba-yado-dera were damaged and subsequently burned. To the east of this area, a fire broke out half a chō north of Rokken-bori and Abegawa, and sparks flew south to Morishita-machi. There are areas of collapse and burned ground in this vicinity. The rice granary (momigura) along Rokken-bori-dōri to the north of Yanagawa-machi burned slightly. In this area, at the Shinmei monzen-machi (the gate-front town of the Shinmei shrine), the main shrine survived, but the entire surrounding area burned. Lord Inoue Kawachi's residence burned. Fires broke out from Tokiwa-machi, and Lord Ogasawara's residence burned slightly. The long tenement building (omote-nagaya) at Lord Ōta's residence burned slightly. The fire stopped at Takabashi.
