右の通り去る辰年登城の節、於義丸より贈り物をしたので、今年も贈り物をしたいと伺いを立てます。以上

一、三月六日 右と同様の件について、御用掛りの御老中堀田相模守正亮殿へ届け出のため、御留守居津田九右衛門盛恕が参上した
一、同月二十一日 福井より出発して東海道を旅行
一、同日 今回於義丸様へ尾張中納言宗勝様の御息女との縁組について御内談をまとめるため、二十三日に尾張様へ小笠原縫殿助殿を通じて申し入れをすることになったので、次の通りの御書付を今日縫殿助殿へ家老が渡した
「この度品姫様と於義丸との縁組の件について、内談の通りいよいよ取りまとめたく存じます。よって小笠原縫殿助を通じてその旨をお伝えします
三月二十三日」

1. Same day - Regarding the marriage negotiations between Yoshimaru-sama and the daughter of Owari Chūnagon Munekatsu-sama, on the 23rd an approach was made to Owari-sama through Ogasawara Nuinosuke-dono, so the following written document was handed to Nuinosuke-dono by the chief retainer today:
"Regarding the marriage between Shinahime-sama and Yoshimaru, we wish to finalize the arrangement as discussed in our private talks. Therefore, we convey this through Ogasawara Nuinosuke.
