一 同月二十七日、御老中本多伯耆守正珍殿に御面会のため御勤めされた。
一 八月一日、御祝儀のため御登城し、例の通り小太刀と馬代を御献上された。
一 同月九日、近江守様の御願いの通り御隠居され、式部様に御家督が間違いなく仰せ出された。その御礼のため御老中へ御使者を指し出された。
一 同月十八日、御使者を以て例の通り御国産の初鱈を献上された。
一 同月十九日、小日向の出水について大目付中より御触れ達しの趣旨により、左の通り御届書を大目付石河土佐守殿へ御留守居津田九右衛門盛恕が持参し指し出した。
小日向筋の出水により流家や流死人があれば申し達すべき旨承知いたしました。各水筋に兵部大輔屋敷もございません。もっとも家中末々まで関わる流死の者はございません。この段御届け申し上げます。以上

一 同月二十八日、御老中本多伯耆守正珍殿より御渡しの御書付について、大目付中より左の通り御廻状が来た。

1. On August 1st, he went to the castle for congratulatory purposes and presented a short sword and horse substitute as usual.
1. On the 9th of the same month, Ōmi-no-kami retired as requested, and succession to Shikibu was definitively announced. Messengers were sent to the Senior Councilors to express gratitude.

1. On the 19th of the same month, regarding the flood at Kohinata, according to instructions from the Chief Inspectors, the following notification was submitted to Chief Inspector Ishikawa Tosa-no-kami through Caretaker Tsuda Kuemon Moriyoshi:
"We have understood that we should report if there are any houses swept away or drowning victims due to the flood in the Kohinata area. There are no Hyōbu-dayū residences along any of the waterways. Moreover, there are no drowning victims involving even the lowest-ranking retainers. We hereby submit this report."
