　一　同月廿九日右同断ニ付箱根今切御関所御通行之儀御留守
　　　居中江御留守居ゟ左之通証文持参指出之
　　　　　　　　松平兵部大輔就病死遺影棺納従江戸越前国
　　　　　　　　福井菩提所運正寺迄指遣申候箱根今切両
　　　　　　　　御関所無相違罷通候様御手引可被下置候若

一　十月二十五日　御逝去につき江戸表からの早駆御使として御側の本多五郎右衛門（武正）、
　　副使小川与右衛門（英長）が到着し、月番御家老本多民部（道好）宅にて諸方面へ
　　申し渡した。
一　同日、右同断につき使者として、留板取口へ御先物頭中川惣右衛門、二ツ屋口へ
　　杉田五太夫（方敬）、細呂木口へ柘植伊右衛門（影英）を指し出した。
一　同月二十八日
　　徳正院様の御遺骸を運正寺へ御葬送するにつき、来月六日江戸御屋敷で御
　　出棺するにつき、御用番松平右近将監（武元）殿へ御留守居横田作太夫（尚道）が
　　御届けのため出向き、左の通り口頭にて相達した。

　　　　　　兵部大輔の遺骸を国許の菩提所運正寺にて葬送いたします。
　　　　　　これにより来月六日にこちら表にて出棺いたします。この段
　　　　　　御届け申し上げます。
一　同月二十九日、右同断につき箱根・今切の御関所御通行の件について、御留守
　　居衆へ御留守居から左の通り証文を持参し指し出した。
　　　　　　　松平兵部大輔の病死により遺影を棺に納め、江戸から越前国
　　　　　　　福井の菩提所運正寺まで指し遣わします。箱根・今切両
　　　　　　　御関所を支障なく通行できるよう御手引きを下し置かれるようお願いします。もし
　　　　　　　この遺骸につき今後出入りの件で問題が生じましたら、私どもが出向いて申し開き

- October 25th: Regarding the passing away, express messengers from Edo arrived - chief messenger from the personal attendants Honda Gorōemon (Takemasa) and deputy messenger Ogawa Yoemon (Hidenaga) - and announcements were made to all relevant parties at the residence of the monthly senior retainer Honda Minbu (Michiyoshi).
- On the same day, regarding the same matter, as messengers: senior squad leader Nakagawa Sōemon was sent to the Tomeboard checkpoint, Sugita Gotadayū (Hōkei) to the Futsuya checkpoint, and Tsuge Iemon (Kagei) to the Hosorogi checkpoint.
- On the 28th of the same month:
　　Regarding the funeral transport of the remains of Lord Tokushōin to Unshōji temple, concerning the departure of the coffin from the Edo residence on the 6th of next month, caretaker Yokota Sakudayū (Naomichi) went to report to Lord Matsudaira Ukon-shōgen (Takemoto), who was on duty, and communicated the following orally:

　　　　　　The remains of Hyōbu-no-taiyu will be given funeral rites at Unshōji temple, the family temple in the home domain.
　　　　　　Therefore, the coffin will depart from here on the 6th of next month. We hereby report this matter.
- On the 29th of the same month, regarding the same matter, concerning passage through the Hakone and Imagiri checkpoints, the caretaker presented the following certificate to the caretaker officials:
　　　　　　　Due to the death by illness of Matsudaira Hyōbu-no-taiyu, we are sending his portrait placed in a coffin from Edo to Unshōji temple, the family temple in Fukui, Echizen Province. Please provide guidance so that [the procession] may pass through both the Hakone and Imagiri checkpoints without hindrance. Should any issues arise regarding entry and exit concerning these remains in the future, we will come forward to provide explanations.
