一、同月九日、喜八郎様が昨冬御家督を仰せ出されたことへの御礼として、江戸表へ御書（六日日付）を提出した

一、同月十一日、昨年十二月に主上が御水痘を御酒湯でお治しになったことへの御歓として派遣された御使者茂呂多右衛門が去る七日に到着し、今朝御用番へ参上して御書を提出した

一、同日、御年始三ヶ日の御規式が済んだことへの御歓として江戸表へ御書を提出し、例年通り御肴（鯣）を献上した

一、同月十二日、昨年十二月に細川越中守殿の長屋が出火したが御曲輪内であったため、御機嫌伺いとして江戸表へ御書を提出した

1. On the ninth day of the same month, a letter was submitted to Edo as thanks for Kihachirō-sama having been granted succession of the family headship the previous winter (dated the sixth day).

On the eleventh day of the same month, messenger Mero Taemon, who had been dispatched to offer congratulations for His Majesty having recovered from smallpox through sake baths in the previous December, arrived on the seventh and this morning presented himself to the duty officer and submitted the letter.
