（御書に代えて御使者を）差し出した。以後も同様とする。
一、右の御規式が済んだことの御祝儀につき御使者を差し出す件については、以後は定例となるため、記さない。
一、正月七日、若菜の御祝儀につき、御使者として御留守居・加藤長右衛門（正敏）をもって、御先代の通り、公方様へ鮮鯛一折が献上された。御側衆・水野河内守（忠冨）殿より、後刻披露を遂げる旨を申し聞かされた。
大納言様へは御使者として御留守居・横田作大夫（尚道）をもって、西丸へも右同様に献上され、御側衆・戸田土佐守（氏明）殿より、後刻披露を遂げる旨を申し聞かされた。
一、同月八日、御勘定所へ御勝手役・林新助（■■）が罷り出て、元御預所の件について、御国許において御代官・内藤十右衛門殿へ去年十二月二十三日に引き渡しが相済んだ段を申し達した。それより御勘定奉行・遠藤伊勢守（易続）殿へも右同様に申し達した。
一、同月十日、公方様が東叡山へ御参詣につき、還御以後、御機嫌をお伺いするため、御使者として御留守居・加藤長右衛門（正敏）が御城へ差し出された。御目付・脇坂主計殿より、ますます御機嫌よく御座なされている段を申し聞かされた。
ただし、東叡山への御参詣のたびに御機嫌をお伺いする御使者を差し出す件については、以後は定例となるため、記さない。

Item: On the seventh day of the first month, on the occasion of the Young Herbs (Wakana) celebration, the Rusuii Katō Chōuemon (Masatoshi) was dispatched as messenger, and in accordance with the precedent of the previous lord, one box of fresh sea bream (sen-tai) was presented to the Kubō-sama. The Sobashū (Senior Attendant) Mizuno Kawachi-no-kami (Tadatomi) conveyed that the presentation would be duly reported at a later time.
To the Dainagon-sama, the Rusuii Yokota Sakudayū (Naomichi) was dispatched as messenger to the Nishi-maru (Western Keep), and the same gift was presented. The Sobashū Toda Tosa-no-kami (Ujiaki) conveyed that the presentation would likewise be duly reported at a later time.
Item: On the eighth day of the same month, the Okatte-yaku (Financial Official) Hayashi Shinsuke (■■) appeared at the Gokanjōsho (Financial Magistrate's Office) to report that, concerning the matter of the former Oazukari-sho (entrusted territory), the transfer to the Daikan (Local Deputy Administrator) Naitō Jūemon at the domain had been completed on the twenty-third day of the twelfth month of the previous year. Following this, the same report was conveyed to the Kanjō-bugyō (Financial Magistrate) Endō Ise-no-kami (Yakitsugu).
Item: On the tenth day of the same month, on the occasion of the Kubō-sama's visit to Tōeizan (Kan'ei-ji Temple), after his return, the Rusuii Katō Chōuemon (Masatoshi) was dispatched as messenger to the castle to inquire after his well-being. The Metsuke (Inspector) Wakisaka Kazue conveyed that his well-being was exceedingly good.
Note: Regarding the dispatch of a messenger to inquire after the Kubō-sama's well-being each time he visits Tōeizan, since this will henceforth become a regular established custom, it will not be recorded again.
