御伺書被差出候処
於義丸様御身分ニ付
大御所様江表向御献上物被差上候例有之候ハヽ可差出旨
被申聞候ニ付左之通表向ゟ御献上被成候例書被差出之

差上表向御献上者無之由ニ候得共御家ゟ者
現代語訳
御伺書を差し出されたところ、
於義丸様の御身分につき、大御所様へ表向きの御献上物を差し上げる例があるならば差し出すべき旨を申し聞かされたことにより、左の通り表向きより御献上された例書を差し出した。
一、延享四卯年（1747）七月二十八日、御名代をもって御養子御礼の節、
三御所様へ御献上物の例書 一通
一、同年十二月二十三日、御引移が相済んだことにより、同二十五日、
三御所様へ御献上物の例書 一通
一、寛延元辰年（1748）四月十五日、御引移後、
御本丸大奥へ初めて御登城の節、御献上物の例書 一通
一、当午年（1750）六月、
浄円院様二十五回御忌御法事中、御献上物の例書 一通
右四通の例書を差し出したが、ここでは略す。
但し、大御所様へ表向きの御献上物の儀については、此度尾張様よりも、
公方様へ 二種一荷
大納言様へ 一種一荷
を御家老御使者にて献じられた。
大御所様へは御内証より女使をもって生鯛一折を差し上げられ、表向き
の御献上はなき由にて候えども、御家よりは

When the written inquiry (oukagaisho) was submitted, it was communicated that, regarding the standing of Ogimaru-sama, if there were precedents for formally presenting tribute offerings to the Ōgosho-sama, such offerings should be submitted. In response, the following records of formal precedents for tribute offerings were submitted:
Item: On the 28th day of the 7th month of Enkyō 4, the year of the Hare (1747), on the occasion of the formal adoption ceremony conducted through a representative (nadai), one document recording precedents for tribute offerings to the Three Honorable Residences (Mio-sho-sama).
Item: On the 23rd day of the 12th month of the same year, upon completion of the residential transfer (ohikiwatashi), and on the 25th of the same month, one document recording precedents for tribute offerings to the Three Honorable Residences.
Item: On the 15th day of the 4th month of Kan'en 1, the year of the Dragon (1748), following the residential transfer, on the occasion of the first attendance at the inner chambers (ōoku) of the Main Keep (honmaru), one document recording precedents for tribute offerings.
Item: In the 6th month of the current year of the Horse (1750), during the memorial Buddhist services for the 25th death anniversary of Jōen-in-sama, one document recording precedents for tribute offerings.
The above four precedent documents were submitted, but are omitted here [from the record].
Note: Regarding the formal tribute offerings to Ōgosho-sama, on this occasion from Owari-sama:
To the Kubō-sama: two varieties, one load (ikka)
To the Dainagon-sama: one variety, one load (ikka)
were presented through the chief retainer acting as messenger.
To the Ōgosho-sama, a tray of fresh sea bream (namatai) was offered via a female messenger (onnatsukai) through private/informal channels (gonaishō), and it appears there was no formal public tribute offering; however, from this domain (oie)—(continued on next page).
