現代語訳
御宮御霊屋並びに本坊御修復につき御手伝いを仰せ付けられた。
ただし御用向きは中務大輔に相伺うべきである。
右の御礼を仰せ上げて済み、その後西丸へ御登城し御礼を仰せ上げ、御奏者番を仰せ付けられて御退出の際、御老中若年寄に御回勤した。
一、同日、御用番松平伊豆守信明殿より御呼び出しがあり、御留守居浅井源左衛門政之が出向いたところ、左の通り御書付をもって東叡山火の番を御免になされた旨を申し聞かせられた。
日光御手伝いを仰せ付けられた間、東叡山火の番を御免になされる。
一、八月十二日、御用番松平伊豆守信明殿へ御逢対御勤めした。
一、同日、運正寺において昨十一日晩より今朝まで、探源院様三十三回御忌御取越御法事が御執行された。
一、同月十三日、御老中本多中務大輔忠良殿へ御逢対御勤めした。
一、同月十四日、今度日光御普請御手伝いを仰せ出されたにつき、右の御普請御小屋場を柳原において御渡しにつき、受け取りのため御役人共を指し出した。
一、同月十六日、御老中土岐丹後守頼稔殿へ御逢対御勤めした。

[Regarding] the repair of the shrine, mausoleum, and main temple quarters, assistance was ordered.
However, regarding official matters, consultation should be made with the Nakatsukasa-dayū.
After expressing gratitude for the above, and then going to Nishinomaru castle to express thanks, being appointed as court announcer and upon departure, made courtesy visits to the senior councilors and junior councilors.
1. On the same day, there was a summons from duty officer Matsudaira Izu-no-kami Nobuaki, and when the estate keeper Asai Genzaemon Masayuki went out, he was informed through the following written notice that the fire watch duty at Tōeizan had been exempted.
Since assistance for Nikkō has been ordered, the fire watch duty at Tōeizan is exempted.
1. On the 12th day of the 8th month, performed duty of audience with duty officer Matsudaira Izu-no-kami Nobuaki.
1. On the same day, at Unshōji Temple, from the evening of the 11th until this morning, the thirty-third anniversary advance memorial service for Tangenin-sama was conducted.
1. On the 13th day of the same month, performed duty of audience with Senior Councilor Honda Nakatsukasa-dayū Tadayoshi.
1. On the 14th day of the same month, regarding the order for assistance with the Nikkō construction project, concerning the transfer of the construction site huts at Yanagihara for this construction project, officials were dispatched to receive them.
1. On the 16th day of the same month, performed duty of audience with Senior Councilor Toki Tango-no-kami Yoritoshi.
