一、同月八日、日光御普請御手伝いにつき、右の御場所へ派遣候御足軽ども百八十人余り不足につき、本多内蔵助初め高知の面々より御借人をなされるべき旨、江戸表より申し来候につき、右の面々へ左の通り書付をもって月番御家老松平主馬正明宅において申し渡しこれあり。

1. On September 2nd, for the Chōyō festival celebrations, formal court robes were presented as usual through an official messenger.

On the 8th of the same month, regarding assistance with the Nikkō construction project, as there was a shortage of over 180 ashigaru (foot soldiers) to be dispatched to that location, word came from Edo that personnel should be borrowed from Honda Kuranosuke and others from Kōchi domain. Accordingly, the following written notice was delivered to these individuals through the monthly duty senior retainer at the residence of Matsudaira Umano-shō Akinao:
