現代語訳
大豆の相場三十匁で割って十五石を求め、小豆は四百五十匁を二十七匁で割り、麦は右の銀（四百五十匁）を二十五匁で、蕎麦は二十匁で割って求める。
五色の合計は八十二石一斗六升六合六勺六才である。
これを目安として、〆百一石一升六合五勺を割ると、米の石高は十二石三斗と知れる。
この銀高を知るには相場を掛けて、五百五十三匁五分と知れる。
大豆の石高は、米の十二石三斗に位（比率）を合わせ、十五石を掛けて求める。小豆は米の石高に十六石六斗六升六合を掛けて求める。麦は米の石高に十八石を掛け、蕎麦は二十二石五斗を掛けて求める。銀高を知るには、その石高にそれぞれの値段（直段）を掛けて求める。

Divide by the market price of soybeans, 30 *monme*, to obtain 15 *koku*; for adzuki beans, divide 450 *monme* by 27 *monme*; for wheat, divide the same silver amount (450 *monme*) by 25 *monme*; and for buckwheat, divide by 20 *monme* to find the respective quantities.
The combined total of the five commodities is 82 *koku*, 1 *to*, 6 *shō*, 6 *gō*, 6 *shaku*, and 6 *sai*.
Using this as a reference (*meyasu*), dividing the total of 101 *koku*, 1 *shō*, 6 *gō*, and 5 *shaku* gives the quantity of rice as 12 *koku* and 3 *to*.
To find the silver value, multiply by the market price to obtain 553 *monme* and 5 *fun*.
The quantity of soybeans is found by taking the rice quantity of 12 *koku* 3 *to*, adjusting for proportion (*kurai*), and multiplying by 15 *koku*. For adzuki beans, multiply the rice quantity by 16 *koku* 6 *to* 6 *shō* 6 *gō*. For wheat, multiply the rice quantity by 18 *koku*, and for buckwheat, multiply by 22 *koku* 5 *to*.
