十九日也 響夜家
十八日モ近国ハ響キ 明テ逃ル

七月二日通り申候故 右之宿火元ヨリ二十里余
三里廻り仕候 皆々クラヤミ

草津山 湯元まで七里
この場所から噴火した
岩石が焼け落ちて、その音が五、六十里先まで
聞こえ、雷のように響き始め、地面が振動した
火元（噴火地点）から浅間山まで

六月十八日辰の刻、辰巳の方角から風が起こり 麓の人家では
午の刻に大風となり夜に入ってさらに強くなった 四、五里の間

十九日のことである 夜中に家が響き
十八日も近隣の国では響いていた 明るくなって逃げる
七月二日に通ったので この宿場は火元から二十里余り
三里回り道をした 皆真っ暗闇
