金銀掛合候分銅寛文年中改以前之古分銅両替
仲ヶ間ニ而遣候由相聞候ニ付京大坂堺近江之分潰等迄
外ニ而売買不致潰直段を以後藤四郎兵衛方江買請させ
目軽キ古分銅内々ニ而売買致間鋪旨度々相触候所
今以西国并長崎筋ニ而は古分銅多く売買致し
用候由相聞候此以後内々ニ而売買致し儀ハ勿論
不隠置四郎兵衛方江可相渡候尤四郎兵衛方より
分銅改役人相廻候紛敷分銅は取上候筈ニ候

金銀の秤量に使用する分銅について、寛文年間の改正以前の古い分銅を両替仲間が使用しているという話を聞いたため、京都・大坂・堺・近江の分銅については潰すまで他で売買せず、潰し値段で後藤四郎兵衛方へ買い取らせ、目方の軽い古分銅を内々で売買してはならない旨を度々触れ渡したところ、今でも西国および長崎方面では古分銅を多く売買し使用しているという話を聞いている。今後は内々での売買はもちろんのこと、隠し置かず四郎兵衛方へ引き渡すこと。なお四郎兵衛方より分銅改役人が巡回し、疑わしい分銅は没収する予定である。

以上の通り先年より度々触れ渡し、後藤四郎兵衛の役人が巡回し改めているところ、近頃疑わしい分銅をも使用しているという話を聞いたため、今度四郎兵衛より分銅改役人が巡回し、疑わしい分銅は没収する予定であるから、その趣旨を厳格に守るべきである。
以上の通り、御料地は御代官、私領は領主・地頭より触れ渡すこと。

Regarding weights used for measuring gold and silver, we have heard that money changers' associations are using old weights from before the reforms of the Kanbuun era. Therefore, we have repeatedly issued notices that weights from Kyoto, Osaka, Sakai, and Omi should not be sold elsewhere until they are melted down, should be purchased by Goto Shirōbee's office at scrap prices, and that light old weights should not be bought and sold privately. However, we continue to hear that old weights are still being widely bought, sold, and used in western provinces and the Nagasaki region. From now on, not only private buying and selling is prohibited, but such weights must not be hidden and must be handed over to Shirōbee's office. Moreover, weight inspection officials will be dispatched from Shirōbee's office to confiscate suspicious weights.
