What is now called "Kuzu no Sō" (the Kuzu performance) —
singing songs and playing
flutes — represents the idea that
[the Kuzu people] come from Yoshino at the
beginning of each year. 《Interpolated: etc.》
The "Gōke Shidai" states:
"The Kuzu perform songs and flute music
outside the Seiryōden gate
and present this performance."
