Since then, the tremors have continued incessantly day and night. While details from distant villages remain unclear, the damage to the castle grounds and castle town is as follows:

- One watchtower (watari-yagura) collapsed
- One crowned gate (kabuki-mon) collapsed
- Stone walls collapsed in two locations
- All surrounding walls collapsed
- One storehouse collapsed
- One storehouse half-collapsed
- One two-story tower damaged
- One storage building collapsed
Second Bailey (Ninomaru):
- One gate half-collapsed
- All surrounding walls collapsed
- Residential quarters half-collapsed
