More than 30 people died, and over 20 horses and cattle perished. **Kodama Village** Of the 80 houses in the village, 5 remained standing while all the rest were completely destroyed. Approximately 14 to 15 people died, 10 horses and cattle perished, and there were also injured persons. **Muroi** All 130 houses in the area were completely destroyed. Of the 46 sub-temples within the precinct, **The Head Temple (Honbō)** Daikanjin and the lodging temples remained standing, while all the other sub-temples were completely destroyed and the remaining structures collapsed. The number of deaths among the monks, menservants, visiting pilgrims, and lodgers within the sub-temples is unknown.
