Generally, the most revered beings are known without needing to be named, and this applies not only to emperors, lords, and nobles. The same is true for trees and flowers. The peonies of Luoyang, the crabapples of western Shu, and the cherry blossoms of Japan are such examples. Both peonies and crabapples each have their catalogs.
