ようになっている。一重の小輪で白色をしており、
花はまばらに付くものである。洛西の
仁和寺二王門下の東側に
一株ある。花は小さくてよく

○Iganai said: "It has fewer layers of petals than Kumagaya cherry.
Kumagaya cherry opens with petals curving outward,
but Chigo-zakura holds its petals inward in an embracing manner.
It has single petals, small flowers, and white color,
with flowers blooming sparsely. In western Kyoto,
at Ninna-ji temple, on the east side below the Niomon gate,
there is one tree. The flowers are small and closely

and white medium-sized flowers called Tono-zakura (Lord Cherry)."
