現代語訳
【右丁】
（「法善寺」「泰山府君」と）いうものがあると言われているが、そうではない。すなわちこれは江戸法輪寺（桜）そのものであり、別種ではなく、一つのものに二つの名がついているのである。ただし、江戸桜にはおおむね似ているものの、江戸（桜）は花弁が薄く、江戸法輪寺（桜）は（花弁が）厚く、豊かで充実している。

This is indeed the Edo-Hōrinji cherry itself; it is not a separate variety but rather one plant bearing two names. However, while it broadly resembles the Edo cherry, the Edo cherry has thin petals, whereas the Edo-Hōrinji cherry has thick petals and is rich and full in its flowering.

○Ikansai states: The flowers are small and roughly similar to those of the Ko-Edo (小江戸) cherry, and they are double-petaled (yaezaki). The color is beautiful and lustrous. The stems are shorter than those of the Ko-Edo cherry. The form of the flower especially resembles that of the Kiridani cherry, though the blooms are smaller than those of the Kiridani cherry. However, the Kiridani cherry blooms with a mixture of double and single petals, while the Rōma cherry is entirely double-petaled. The Edo cherry and the Rōma cherry—
