九重桜（ここのえざくら）

【下段】
○怡顔斎いわく――花の形は桐谷（桜）と同じく八重咲きであるが、少し花びらの重なりが多いものである。それゆえ「九重」と呼ぶ。

浅黄桜（あさぎざくら）

【下段】
○怡顔斎いわく――花は桐谷（桜）と同じ大きさで、特に桐谷（桜）と同じ時期に開く。一重咲きで白色であり、萼（がく）が非常に緑色をしている。花は本当に黄色いわけではなく、花びらが萼の（緑）色に映えて青みがかって見えるのである。これはすなわち「緑萼垂糸海棠（りょくがくすいしかいどう）」である。

○Itogansai writes: The flower form is the same as the Kiridani cherry, being double-petaled (yaezaki), but with somewhat more layers of petals than usual. It is called "Kokonoe" (ninefold) for this reason.

Asagi-zakura (Light Blue-Green Cherry)

【Lower section】
○Itogansai writes: The flower is the same size as the Kiridani cherry, and it blooms at precisely the same time as the Kiridani. The petals are single (single-layered) and white, while the sepals are a remarkably deep green. The flower is not truly yellow; rather, the petals are reflected in the (green) color of the sepals, causing them to appear bluish-green. This variety is, in fact, the "Ryokugaku-suishi-kaidō" (Green-calyxed Weeping Crab Apple).
