○鈍永いわく、鳳来寺（ほうらいじ）桜よりも少し小さく、色は濃く赤い。茎が長く、花弁の先が細い。千弁（せんよう）である。花の形は山吹（ヤマブキ）の花に似ている。この名称の由来はつまびらかでない。

伊勢桜（いせざくら）

【下段】
○怡顔斎いわく、八重咲きにして濃紫色を帯びた赤色である。花弁の内側の付け根が白い。
○活所翁桜譜いわく、色は紅であり、花はあまり開かない。この花は特に遅咲きである。尾張（おわり）に近いという意味合いで「伊勢」と名付けられた。

○Don'ei states: It is slightly smaller than the *Hōraiji* (cherry). The color is a deep red. The stems are long, and the tips of the petals are narrow. It is a thousand-petaled (*senyō*) variety. The shape of the flower resembles that of the *yamabuki* (Japanese kerria, *Kerria japonica*). The origin or meaning of this name is not fully known.

*Ise-zakura* (Ise Cherry)

【Lower section】
○Igan-sai (the author) states: It is a double-flowered variety with a deep purple-tinged red color. The base of the inner petals is white.
○Kassho-ō's *Sakura-fu* states: The color is crimson, and the flower does not open very widely. This flower blooms particularly late. It is named "Ise" with the meaning that it is near (*chikaki*) Owari Province — that is, Ise is the neighboring province to Owari.
