（前頁より続く）…鹿苑（ろくおん）に法輪を転じ、空に排（そびえ）る宝蓋（ほうがい）は翔ける雲に接して共に飛び、荘厳なる野の春の林は天華（てんげ）とともに□彩（いろどり）を添える。
伏して惟（おも）うに、皇帝陛下は、上天（じょうてん）の御加護を資（たす）けとして、拱手（きょうしゅ）して垂れながら八荒（はっこう）を治め、その徳は黔黎（けんれい＝黎民、万民）に及び、衽（えり）を斂（おさ）めて（つつしんで礼を正し）万国が朝（ちょう）し、その恩は朽ちた□（文字不明）の石室（せきしつ）にまで加わり、貝葉（ばいよう）の文（ふみ＝梵語経典）はそこに帰し、その沢（めぐみ）は昆蟲（こんちゅう＝小さき生き物すべて）に及び、金匱（きんき）には梵説（ぼんせつ）の偈（げ）が流れ伝わる。かくして阿…（次頁へ続く）
英語訳
(Continued from previous page)...the Wheel of the Dharma turns at the Deer Park (Mṛgadāva); the jeweled canopies (宝蓋, hōgai) that soar into the sky meet the drifting clouds and fly together with them; the splendid spring forests of the fields add their □-colored beauty together with the celestial flowers (天花, tenge).
We humbly reflect that His Majesty the Emperor, drawing upon the blessings bestowed by High Heaven, governs the eight wildernesses (八荒, hakkō — i.e., the entire realm) while at rest with folded hands; his virtue reaches the common people (黔黎, kenrei), and the ten thousand nations come to pay court with their robes gathered respectfully; his benevolence extends even to the stone chambers of crumbling □ [character unclear], where the texts written on palm leaves (貝葉, baiyō — Sanskrit scriptures) return; his grace reaches down to the smallest insects and creatures, and the golden caskets (金匱, kinki) carry forth the gāthās of the Buddhist teachings.
