三藐三菩提故知般若波羅
蜜多是大神呪是大明呪
是無上呪是無等等呪
能除一切苦真実不虛故
説般若波羅蜜多呪即

現代語訳
三藐三菩提（さんみゃくさんぼだい）を得る。ゆえに知るべし、般若波羅蜜多は、これ大いなる神呪（しんじゅ）であり、これ大いなる明呪（みょうじゅ）であり、これ無上の呪（じゅ）であり、これ無等等（むとうどう）の呪である。よく一切の苦を除き、真実にして虚しからず。ゆえに般若波羅蜜多の呪を説く。すなわち呪を説いて曰く——

英語訳
...Samyaksaṃbodhi. Therefore, know that the Prajñāpāramitā is the great divine mantra, the great mantra of illumination, the unsurpassed mantra, the mantra beyond all comparison. It truly removes all suffering and is not false. Therefore, the mantra of the Prajñāpāramitā is proclaimed. The mantra is spoken thus:
