【大唐三蔵聖教序】
太宗文皇帝（李世民）御製
弘福寺の沙門・懐仁が（王羲之の書から文字を）集字し、
右将軍・王羲之の書による。
そもそも聞くところによれば、天地（二儀）には形象があり、
その覆い載せる働きによって生けるものを包み込み、
四季には形はないながらも、寒暑を通じて万物を変化させる。
それゆえ、天を窺い地を鑑みるに、凡愚の者でさえもその端緒を知り、
陰を明らかにし陽を洞察する……

【Preface to the Holy Teachings of the Tripitaka of the Great Tang】

Characters collected by the monk Huairen of Hongfu Temple,
written in the calligraphy of Wang Xizhi, General of the Right.
It is said that the Two Principles (Heaven and Earth) possess form,
and through their covering and supporting [all things], they encompass all living beings;
the Four Seasons have no form, yet through cold and heat they transform all things.
Thus, in observing Heaven and examining Earth, even the most foolish and common person can perceive their fundamental principles,
and discern the nature of Yin and Yang...
