と号す本尊は薬師寺領五石天養二年建立と云
江戸より三里許
○平井聖天葛飾郡下平井村に在別当は真言
明雅山灯明寺号す江戸より三里金町村金蓮院末也
聖天堂南面弐間半四方拝殿六間に三間歓喜天の額
文化十一甲戌皐月某筆本社のうしろに御供殿あり
弐間に壱間半側に大黒の小社あり石にて作り東向
前に石の二王石の鳥居あり大黒の北に当寺中興法印
恵祐の束あり本社の鳥居四ヶ所に在第一の鳥居

白木歓喜天の額筆者不知第二の鳥居朱第三の
鳥居石歓喜天の額是も筆者不知第四之鳥居
は下平井村の渡の上にあり西向聖天宮の額天柱
惟馨書第二の鳥居のかたはらに諏訪明神の社有
東向四尺に三尺銀杏の大木の下にあり□□□□水有【東の方泉水有】
上に藤棚あり諏訪の鳥居石にてつくる東面也
稲荷社第三の鳥居の外にあり小社也灯明寺は
聖天より東の方に在る本堂南向九間七間本尊
不動は相州大山の本尊と同しく郎弁僧都【良弁僧都】作と云

現代語訳

と号する。本尊は薬師如来で、寺領五石、天養二年建立という。江戸より三里ほど。

○平井聖天　葛飾郡下平井村にあり。別当は真言宗明雅山灯明寺と号する。江戸より三里。金町村金蓮院の末寺である。聖天堂は南面で二間半四方、拝殿は六間に三間。歓喜天の額があり、文化十一年甲戌皐月某氏の筆である。本社の後ろに御供殿があり、二間に一間半。側に大黒の小社があり、石で作られ東向きである。前に石の仁王と石の鳥居がある。大黒の北に当寺中興法印恵祐の墓がある。本社の鳥居は四ヶ所にある。第一の鳥居は

白木で歓喜天の額があるが筆者不明。第二の鳥居は朱色。第三の鳥居は石で歓喜天の額があり、これも筆者不明。第四の鳥居は下平井村の渡しの上にあり西向きで、聖天宮の額は天柱惟馨の書である。第二の鳥居の傍らに諏訪明神の社があり、東向きで四尺に三尺、銀杏の大木の下にある。東の方に泉水があり、上に藤棚がある。諏訪の鳥居は石で造り東面である。稲荷社は第三の鳥居の外にあり小社である。灯明寺は聖天より東の方にある。本堂は南向きで九間七間。本尊の不動明王は相州大山の本尊と同じく良弁僧都作という。

英語訳

It is called [Yakuōzan]. The principal deity is Yakushi Nyorai (Medicine Buddha), with temple lands of five koku, said to have been established in the second year of Tenyō (1145). About three ri from Edo.

○Hirai Shōten: Located in Shimo-Hirai Village, Katsushika District. The bettō (administrator) is Myōgasan Tōmyōji Temple of the Shingon sect. Three ri from Edo. It is a branch temple of Konrenin in Kanamachi Village. The Shōten Hall faces south and is two and a half ken square, with a worship hall of six by three ken. There is a plaque of Kangi-ten, written by someone in the fifth month of Bunka 11 (1814). Behind the main shrine is an offering hall, two ken by one and a half ken. To the side is a small Daikoku shrine made of stone, facing east. In front are stone Niō (guardian kings) and a stone torii. North of Daikoku is the grave of Eryū, the hōin (high priest) who revived this temple. There are four torii for the main shrine. The first torii is

made of plain wood with a Kangi-ten plaque by an unknown calligrapher. The second torii is vermillion. The third torii is stone with a Kangi-ten plaque, also by an unknown calligrapher. The fourth torii is located above the ferry crossing of Shimo-Hirai Village, facing west, with a "Shōten-gū" plaque written by Tenchū Ikei. Beside the second torii is a shrine to Suwa Myōjin, facing east, four by three shaku, under a large ginkgo tree. There is spring water to the east, with a wisteria arbor above. Suwa's torii is made of stone and faces east. The Inari shrine is outside the third torii and is a small shrine. Tōmyōji Temple is located to the east of Shōten. The main hall faces south and is nine by seven ken. The principal deity, Fudō Myōō, is said to be made by Priest Rōben, the same as the principal deity of Mt. Ōyama in Sagami Province.
