半田氏の屋敷の鎮守にて有しといふはあやまり也
とそ寛保元年辛酉浅草寺中金剛院に半田
稲荷を祠れる事にて公事となりし由浅草寺
旧記に見えたり記中に載たる旨かくの如し
○金町金蓮院 葛飾郡金町村に在真言法護山
金剛宝寺と号す京三宝院末本尊大日傍に千手
観音有又寺内に太子堂あり真言《見せ消ち：真｜新》義葛西
四ケ寺の内也江戸より三里半余
○金町香取 葛飾郡金町村に在本社三間に弐間
渡殿壱間半に弐間拝殿三間に弐間末社数多あり
別当は同村真言吉祥院社地にて操人形興行或時は
御紋付の幕を打と也江戸より三里廿町
○夕顔観音 葛飾郡飯塚村に在本尊正観音堂
五間四面萱葺能救世間苦#1の額願主奥田氏とあり
別当はなく村の名主関口早太郎と云ものゝ持にて
堂守を付置観音堂の所は村岡五郎良文の墓所

現代語訳
半田氏の屋敷の鎮守であったというのは誤りである。寛保元年辛酉（1741年）に浅草寺中の金剛院に半田稲荷を祀ったことで公事（裁判沙汰）となった由来が浅草寺旧記に見えている。記録中に載せられた趣旨は以下の通りである。
○金町金蓮院 葛飾郡金町村にあり、真言宗法護山金剛宝寺と号する。京都三宝院の末寺で、本尊は大日如来、傍らに千手観音がある。また寺内に太子堂があり、真言新義葛西四ヶ寺の内である。江戸より三里半余りの距離にある。
○金町香取 葛飾郡金町村にあり、本社は三間に二間である。渡殿は一間半に二間、拝殿は三間に二間で、末社が数多くある。別当は同村真言宗吉祥院である。社地では操り人形興行があり、或る時は御紋付の幕を張るという。江戸より三里二十町の距離にある。
○夕顔観音 葛飾郡飯塚村にあり、本尊は正観音で、堂は五間四面の茅葺きである。「能救世間苦」の額があり、願主奥田氏とある。別当はなく、村の名主関口早太郎という者の持ちで、堂守を付け置いている。観音堂の所は村岡五郎良文の墓所であるという。江戸より三里三十町の距離にある。

The claim that it was the tutelary shrine of the Handa family's estate is erroneous. According to the old records of Sensōji Temple, in Kanpō 1 (1741), a legal dispute arose when Handa Inari was enshrined at Kongōin within Sensōji Temple. The gist of what is recorded in the documents is as follows:
○Kanamachi Konren-in: Located in Kanamachi Village, Katsushika District, called Hōgosan Kongōhōji of the Shingon sect. It is a branch temple of Sanpōin in Kyoto, with Dainichi Nyorai as the principal deity and Senju Kannon nearby. There is also a Taishi Hall within the temple grounds, and it is one of the four Shingon-Shingi temples of Kasai. It is a little over three and a half ri from Edo.
○Kanamachi Katori: Located in Kanamachi Village, Katsushika District, the main shrine is three ken by two ken. The connecting hall is one and a half ken by two ken, the worship hall is three ken by two ken, and there are many subsidiary shrines. The bettō is Kichijōin, a Shingon temple in the same village. Puppet theater performances are held on the shrine grounds, and sometimes curtains bearing the imperial crest are hung. It is three ri and twenty chō from Edo.
○Yūgao Kannon: Located in Iizuka Village, Katsushika District, the principal deity is Shō Kannon, and the hall is five ken square with a thatched roof. There is a plaque reading "Nō kyū sekan ku" (able to save worldly suffering) with the donor listed as Master Okuda. There is no bettō; it belongs to the village headman named Sekiguchi Sōtarō, who assigns a hall keeper. The site of the Kannon Hall is said to be the burial place of Muraoka Gorō Yoshifumi. It is three ri and thirty chō from Edo.
○Hikokura Kokūzō: Located in Hikokura Village [present-day Misato City, Saitama Prefecture], of the Shingon sect, Myōjōzan.
