養いく仕はゝ子にあわせ申さんと御供申
駿河国主玄関公へ尋参リ申なり母子に合せ
申目出たく御こし入申さんとそ申ける長者
聞て是〳〵旅人此長者何にても申かけたる事
ほくにする事なし是悲にもらい申とて頓而
姫君をひつたて奥をさして入にける太夫は
つとおもいしかいや〳〵きやつめを
あらたてあしかりなんとしあんしてつ〻
いて奥に入扨ゝ有難仕合かな此うへいかてか
いわい申へしさいわい今日吉日なり御祝儀の
御酒壱つと乞イけれは長者よろこひ御酒と申
にたまされて夫ゝ盃と申けれは類を以
集悪等共大箇大平とりそろへはや酒ゑんを初
ける太夫ゑミをふくミようしやうよりもりた
て其かい有りかゝる目出度御事はなしと
悪等共の手を取り酒を様〻に盛なかす
長者をはしめ悪等等前後もしらす

養い育てた暁には、子に会わせ申し上げましょうと、お供申し上げ、駿河国主玄関公のもとへ尋ね参り申すのです。母子を合わせ申し上げ、めでたくお輿入れ申し上げましょう」と申し上げた。長者は聞いて「これこれ旅人よ、この長者が何でも申しかけたことで、望みに叶わないことはない。これは悲しいことにももらい申そう」と言って、すぐさま姫君を引っ立てて奥へと入っていった。太夫は「しまった」と思ったが、「いやいや、あの奴めを、荒立てては良くない」と思案して、ついて行って奥に入った。「さてさて、ありがたい仕合わせかな。この上、どうして祝い申し上げましょうか。幸い今日は吉日なり。御祝儀の御酒を一つ」と乞うたところ、長者は喜んで「御酒と申すに、だまされて、それぞれ盃を」と申したので、類を以て集まった悪党ども、大きな大平を取り揃えて、早速酒宴を始めた。太夫は笑みを含み、様々に盛り立てて、その甲斐あって「かかるめでたい御事はない」と、悪党どもの手を取り、酒を様々に盛んに勧めた。長者をはじめ悪党ども、前後も知らず伏してしまった。太夫は「時分はよし」と思い、姫君を

The retainer thought "This is terrible," but then reconsidered, "No, no, if I act rashly against this fellow, it will not end well," and followed them into the inner quarters.
