現代語訳
一、享保十年巳年二月六日、御奉行山形五左衛門様と竹田七郎右衛門様の御立会いで、御仕送りの件について口頭でご指示をいただいた内容について。今回、殿様がご不如意につき、金高八千両のうち五千両は江戸へ、三千両は御国へのご入用として、右の金子を差し上げれば、御米高一万千石をお渡しくださる旨をご指示いただいた。その際、御上から人数の名前をお書き付けで出すようにとのことで仰せ渡された。これにより私どもは帰って相談し、追って御返答申し上げるということで帰った次第である。

On the sixth day of the second month of Kyōhō 10 (year of the Snake), under the supervision of magistrates Yamagata Gozaemon and Takeda Shichirōemon, we received verbal instructions regarding financial remittances. Due to our lord's current financial difficulties, we were instructed that if we provide the sum of 8,000 ryō—5,000 ryō for Edo and 3,000 ryō for the domain's expenses—we would receive 11,000 koku of rice in return. We were also instructed that the authorities would provide a written list of personnel names. Accordingly, we returned to consult among ourselves and agreed to provide our response at a later time.
