冥加至極重畳有難仕合奉存候然ㇽ上者何分出情仕御奉公
成上度心願御座候處近年勝手向不如意罷此之節ニ至甚以
困窮仕内證取續兼御奉公難相成奉存候依之乍恐
無是非御指物方差上御用細工被成下　御赦免候様奉願上候
右之趣以　御慈悲奉願上候通被為　仰付被下置候ハゝ

右の前の通り吉兵衛治左衛門願書を

　恐れながら口上書を以って願い上げ候御事
私は不調法者でございますところ、思いがけず去る文化十一戊年に
帯刀を許可していただき、その上御扶持方を頂戴し御用細工を仰せ付けられ、
冥加至極、重ね重ね有り難い仕合わせと存じております。然る上は何分にも出精して御奉公
成し上げたいとの心願がございますところ、近年勝手向きが不如意となり、この節に至って甚だ
困窮し、内証取り続きかね御奉公が相成り難いと存じます。これにより恐れながら
是非もなく御指物方差し上げ、御用細工をお赦免くださいますよう願い上げます。
右の趣き、御慈悲を以って願い上げ候通りお仰せ付けくださいますれば
有り難い仕合わせと存じます。以上　　　　　鉾持町願主

I am an incompetent person, but unexpectedly in the past Bunka 11th Inu year,
I was granted permission to wear swords, and furthermore received stipend payments and was appointed to government craft work.
This is extremely fortunate, repeatedly grateful circumstances that I deeply appreciate. Therefore, I had wished to serve diligently
with dedication, but in recent years my financial situation has become difficult, and at this time I have become extremely
impoverished, unable to maintain my household and finding it difficult to continue my service. Therefore, respectfully,
having no choice, I submit my craft tools and request to be released from government craft work.
Regarding the above matter, if through your mercy you would grant my petition as requested,
