恐れながら口上書をもって願い出申し上げます件について
私は男子がおりませんので、千村平右衛門様のご支配所である
手良郷八ッ手村の伊兵衛の息子権之丞という者と内縁関係
もございますので、この者を婿養子として迎え、私の実家利右衛門の跡式を相続
させたく、内談いたしました。つきましては願い出申し上げます。
右の趣旨について、ご慈悲をもって願い出ました通りにご指示
いただけましたなら、ありがたい仕合せと存じます。以上

右の趣旨について、ご慈悲をもって願い出ました通りにご指示
いただけましたなら、ありがたい仕合せと存じます。以上

Since I have no male heir, I have an unofficial engagement
with a man called Gonnojō, son of Ihē from Yatsute Village in Tera District,
which is under the jurisdiction of Lord Chimura Heiemon.
I would like to adopt him as my son-in-law to continue
the family line of my birth family, Riemon, and have discussed this matter internally. Therefore, I humbly submit this petition.
Regarding this matter, if you would mercifully grant
my request as petitioned,
I would consider it most fortunate. That is all.
