毎年、米については仙台の御蔵において（本人に）お渡しするよう申し渡すべきである。

ただし、修理方（小梁川修理）は（役職に就いて）間もないため、御役料を下し置かれるのが妥当であろうと、監物方と我々が相談した旨を、その監物が（上位者に）披露・上申したところ、（上位の方々も）いずれも（監物が）申し上げた通りに御役料を下し置くべきとの御意向であり、その旨を受け、両御申次衆へ（伝達された）。

Regarding the rice stipend each year, instructions should be given that it be handed over at the Sendai granary.

However, since Shūri-no-kata (Koyanagawa Shūri) has only recently taken up his post, we [the authors] consulted with Kenmotsu regarding the appropriateness of granting him the official stipend. Kenmotsu then presented this matter to the higher authorities, whereupon all parties agreed that the stipend should indeed be granted as Kenmotsu had reported. In accordance with this decision, the matter was conveyed to both of the御申次 (御申次衆, liaison officers).
