【右丁】
請負業者から検査を受けるべきと
申し渡したところ、不適切な事情が聞こえてきて
検査に及んだところ、双方とも理解違い
があったようなので町役人から
【左丁】
詳しく尋ねたところ、全く理解違いである
旨を申し立てた。既に以前から注意
しておいた以上は、その点を守るべきところ
いい加減な対応をするのは不適切の
極みである。よって申し付けるべき事項も
あるけれども、双方に
行き違い等があり、
特に時節柄、あらゆる面で格別に
一同を厳しく叱っておく。今後
麻布検査役、販売業者
ともに厳重に心得るべきである。
右の趣旨を各々立ち会いの上で
申し渡すべきである。以上

When it was ordered that inspections should be received from the contractors,
improper circumstances came to light, and
upon conducting an inspection, it appears that both parties had
misunderstandings, so the town officials

made detailed inquiries and found that there were complete misunderstandings,
which they reported. Since warnings had already been given
previously, they should have followed those instructions, but
their negligent handling of the matter was extremely
inappropriate. Therefore, while there are matters that should be addressed,
since both parties had
miscommunications and such,
especially given the current circumstances, and considering all aspects particularly,
all parties have been severely reprimanded. Henceforth,
both the hemp cloth inspectors and the merchants
must be strictly mindful of their duties.
The above instructions should be conveyed
with all parties present. That is all.
