○越前福井 六月十三日の朝の五つ時（午前8時頃）、鍛冶屋町より出火し、城下を残らず焼失した。その朝は大風にて、九十九橋より二百丁ばかり（約22キロメートル）、寺院百カ所ほど、両本願寺（東西本願寺の別院か）を含めて焼失し、その近在十カ所ほども焼失した。夜の四つ時（午後10時頃）に火が鎮まったとのこと。
また十四日夜の丑の八つ時（午前2時頃）より大地震にて、田地は泥海となった。所々で家屋が崩れ、死人・怪我人が多数出て、その混乱は筆紙に――（続く）

[The fire spread] as far as the Kuromon (Black Gate) area. Furthermore, from Shimanoharā to Ōkawara, the area became like a sea of mud due to the *hora* (the tsunami), and the resulting chaos and devastation defies description with brush and paper.
○ **Yokkaichi, Sei Province (Ise Province)** — Shaking began at the Fourth Hour (approx. 10:00 PM) on the night of the 14th, and a great earthquake struck at the Sixth Hour (approx. 6:00 AM) the following morning. Approximately 300 houses were shaken and collapsed. Fires broke out from the Fifth Hour (approx. 8:00 AM), burning approximately 400 houses. Deaths numbered approximately 140–150 people; persons unaccounted for exceeded 200. The entire surrounding area was in great turmoil — one can well imagine the extent of the damage.
○ **Ōshū (Ōmi Province)** — At the same time, at the Seventh Hour (approx. 4:00 AM), a great earthquake struck. From below Miidera temple in Ōtsu to the Obana River area, approximately 100 houses collapsed. Zeze Castle was damaged, and the stone lanterns at Ishiba fell into the lake (Lake Biwa). Shigaraki suffered extensive damage, with deaths and injuries reported. The areas of Kusatsu, Ishibe, Minakuchi, and Tsuchiyama were not especially severe compared to others, yet the damage was still worse than in Kyoto and Osaka.

○ **Fukui, Echizen Province** — On the morning of the 13th day of the 6th month, at the Fifth Hour (approx. 8:00 AM), a fire broke out from Kajiya-machi (Blacksmiths' Quarter) and burned down the entire castle town without exception. Driven by strong winds that morning, the fire spread for approximately 200 *chō* (roughly 22 km) from Tsukumo Bridge, burning approximately 100 temples, including both Honganji branch temples, as well as approximately 10 villages in the surrounding area. The fire was finally extinguished at the Fourth Hour (approx. 10:00 PM) that night.
Furthermore, from the Eighth Watch of the Hour of the Ox (approx. 2:00 AM) on the night of the 14th, a great earthquake struck, turning the farmlands into a sea of mud.
