【挿し絵】 熊野三社 御膳所 　南蔵院 立石村 中川 　此川の曲九拾九曲と云 鯉鮒鯰うなき 蛯いな鯔川魚 至て多し蜆名産 川下にて白魚をもつて 名物とす

【挿し絵】 熊野三社 御膳所 　南蔵院 立石村 中川 　この川の曲がりは九十九曲と言う 鯉・鮒・鯰・うなぎ 海老・いな・鯔などの川魚が 非常に多い。蜆が名産。 川下では白魚をもって 名物とする。

Freshwater clams are a local specialty. In the lower reaches of the river, whitebait is considered a local delicacy.
