【挿絵、地図】 宝永年間までの地形 土地の人の話と考察を加えた図 北 松戸 国府台 市川村 利根川 すべて下総国の葛飾郡 古利根川 関所【松戸へ】 猿ヶ又 金町 葛飾郡 東葛西 新宿【市川へ】 関所 小松川 綾瀬川 隅田川 亀有 小菅 西葛西 本所 中川 利根川と荒川との間にある ゆえに中川という。昔は用水 溝という 千住 浅草 荒川 【挿絵、地図】 現在見る所の略図 利根川を土地の人は江戸川という。源は 上州・信州に及び、吾妻川・烏川・ 神流川・小山川・広瀬川・ 思川・姿川が落合い、栗橋の 下で 赤堀川中で 利根川と分かれて 流れ、関宿で逆川にて再び 落合い また二流となって 中利根川は東に 流れて下総に入る 一流はここに流れる 利根川の源は私は行ったことがないので 土地の人の話で記す。利根川の 源は上州利根郡を指して 源とする。ゆえに名とする。関宿より 下を江戸川と称することは未詳 松戸駅 下総国国府台 市川 猿ヶ又 関所【松戸へ】 金町 葛飾郡 東葛西 用水という 新宿 関所【市川へ】 横川 逆川 である 用水という 土地の人は 古隅田川と いう 葛飾郡 西葛西 小菅 綾瀬川 小菅御殿 中川の源は星川と本荒川とが 落合い、古利根川が分かれ、猿ヶ又より 中川という 奥州・常州・総州 三総への間道が多いという 竪川 小 名 木 川
