御結納之節
御留守居其外之御用ニ懸り候者計花色ニ而もかね
ニ而も無地上下可着候熨斗目右同断此外御祝儀之

【右丁の貼紙】
御結納の節について
御留守居（おるすい）およびその他のご用掛かりの者のみ、花色（はないろ）であっても、かね色（金色）であっても、無地の上下（かみしも）を着用すること。熨斗目（のしめ）についても同様とする。その他、御祝儀の御使者などの場合は、通常の衣服を着用すること。
以上の趣旨を関係者に伝達すること。 十月

Regarding the Occasion of the Formal Betrothal Ceremony (O-Yuinō)
Only those serving as留守居 (rusuigashira, officials managing domain affairs in the lord's absence) and other appointed officials shall wear plain (solid-colored) kamishimo in either hana-iro (light blue/lavender) or kane-iro (golden/brass color). The same applies to noshime (a type of formal robe). For all others, including those dispatched as messengers for the celebratory occasion, ordinary attire is to be worn.
The above instructions are to be communicated to all relevant parties. Tenth Month.
