●▲〇櫛や笄に銀・金の金具類を用いることを、先に触れを出して禁止した以上、金（銀）具の類は潰し銀となるので、手元に蓄えず銀座へ売り渡すこと。そもそも、灰吹銀および潰し銀は、従来から内々に自由に売買してよいものではない。潰し銀は銀座が買い入れるものである。近年は心得違いによって、みだりに（自由売買が）行われているように聞こえる。古来の通り、銀座以外の場所での売買を堅く禁止する。銀の道具・下銀が必要な者は、銀座にて買い求めること。この旨を厳しく守るべきものである。
右の趣旨を触れ出すべきこと。 亥年九月

●▲〇Since a proclamation has already been issued prohibiting the use of silver and gold fittings on combs (kushi) and hairpins (kōgai), such metal fittings will henceforth become "tsubushi-gin" (melted-down silver). Therefore, these items must not be hoarded, and must be sold to the Silver Mint (Ginza). In general, "haifuki-gin" (cupellation silver) and tsubushi-gin have never been articles that could freely be bought and sold privately. Tsubushi-gin is to be purchased by the Silver Mint. In recent years, it has come to our attention that due to misunderstanding, such transactions have been conducted freely and improperly. As has been the custom since ancient times, buying and selling of silver outside of the Silver Mint is strictly prohibited. Those who require silver goods or base silver (shita-gin) should purchase them at the Silver Mint. This directive is to be strictly observed.
The above is to be proclaimed accordingly. 9th month of the year of Boar (亥)
