《第二十》幸橋外・愛宕下通り・久保町・新橋外・切通し・増上寺御成門辺りの諸所に崩壊箇所が見受けられる。芝口は露月町辺りまで、汐留・仙台様御上屋敷辺りまでは揺れが緩やかで、柴井町一丁目が焼失。これより上（北）の大門辺りまでは地震が強く、三島町・神明町・浜手の御屋敷はことごとく崩れたところが多い。浜松町より上（北）の中門前・片門前・金杉・本芝・田町・三田・聖坂・小山辺りは少しずつ損じたところが見受けられるが、格別のことはなし。赤羽根辺りでは有馬様（の屋敷）が大いに崩壊。水天宮は恙なし。聖坂より伊皿子台にかけて崩壊が多し。高輪台町は損傷が多く、白銀・二本榎・御殿山は格別のことなく、高輪通りは痛みが少ない。薩摩藩侯の御物見（物見櫓）一ヶ所崩壊。品川宿は少し損傷。「伊知屋」と申す旅籠屋一軒が潰れ、その外、橋向こう（の建物）の潰れが多し。
《第二十一》日本橋より南は、東西の中通り・呉服橋川岸・新場川岸通りとも、中橋辺りは格別のことなく、南伝馬町より崩壊が多く、同所二丁目より京橋際まで焼失。西は南鍛冶町・南大工町・五郎兵衛町が焼失。畳町は火中にて残った所が少しあり、大根川岸まで焼失。東は具足町・柳町・因幡町・鈴木町・常磐町・松川町の片側が焼け、炭町・竹河岸にて焼き止まる。また京橋向こうは弓町辺り所々に損傷が多し。銀座・三十間堀は崩壊が少なし。木挽町・築地も損傷が少なし。数寄屋橋通り・山下通り……

《Section 20》 Outside Saiwai-bashi (Kōbashi), along the Atago-shita thoroughfare, through Kubo-chō, outside Shimbashi, along the Kiridōshi pass, and around the Zōjō-ji Temple's御成門 (O-nari-mon gate), collapses were observed in various places. From Shibaguchi to around Rōgetsu-chō and as far as the Shiodome area and the vicinity of the Sendai domain's upper residence, the shaking was relatively mild, and Shibai-chō (柴井町) first block burned. From there northward toward the Ōmon (Great Gate) area, the earthquake was severe, and in Mishima-chō, Myōjin-chō (Shinmei-chō), and the seaside daimyo residences, a great many buildings were entirely collapsed. From Hamamatsu-chō northward through Nakamon-mae, Katamon-mae, Kanasugu, Motoshiba, Tamachi, Mita, Hijiri-zaka, and Koyama, minor damage was observed here and there, but nothing of particular severity. Around Akabane, the residence of Lord Arima suffered severe collapse. The Suitengū Shrine was undamaged. From Hijiri-zaka to Isarago-dai, collapses were numerous. Takanawa Dai-machi suffered considerable damage. Shirogane, Nihon-enoki, and Goten-yama suffered no particular damage, and damage along the Takanawa thoroughfare was minimal. One watchtower (monomi) of the Satsuma domain lord's residence collapsed. Shinagawa post-town (shuku) suffered minor damage. One inn called "Ichiya" was completely destroyed, and beyond the bridge, there were many collapses elsewhere.
《Section 21》 South of Nihonbashi, along the east-west central thoroughfare, the Gofuku-bashi riverside road, and the Shinba riverside road, the area around Naka-bashi suffered no particular damage. From Minami-Tenma-chō, collapses became numerous, and from its second block through to the edge of Kyōbashi, fires burned. To the west, Minami-Kaji-chō, Minami-Daiku-chō, and Gorōbei-chō burned. Tatami-chō had a small portion that survived amid the fires, and the burning extended as far as Daikon-Kashi (Daikon Riverside). To the east, one side of the streets of Gusoku-chō, Yanagi-chō, Inaba-chō, Suzuki-chō, Tokiwa-chō, and Matsukawa-chō burned, and the fire stopped at Sumi-chō and Take-gashi (Bamboo Riverside). Across Kyōbashi toward Yumi-chō, damage was considerable in various places. Ginza and Sanjūkkenbori suffered few collapses. Kohiki-chō and Tsukiji also sustained little damage.
