二丁目は焼失、西平野町・富久町・三角屋敷、この辺りは全て倒壊。閘座橋・網打場辺りは少し損傷。佐賀町辺りは大きく崩れ、相川町は焼失。熊井町・緒町・中島町・大島町から中島町まで焼失。富吉町通り・小川町・八幡橋の際では火の中で三軒が残る。蛤町は少し残り、黒江町・三倉寺は焼失。永代寺門前・山本町西横丁は焼失。蛤町金子横丁、俗に「中うら」と呼ばれる場所より松平出羽守様の屋敷が焼失。そこから「がたくり橋」の際で二三軒が残り、ここで焼失が止まる。この火は三か所から一度に焼けた。また一か所は和倉で、北本所代地・坂の町・代地等が焼失した。また黒江町一丁四方ばかりが焼失した。
右の通り焼失場所を見廻り、漏れのないよう改めたが、倒壊した蔵の数等を記すのは事実でなく用に立たない。御屋敷方・市中共にそれぞれ真実を糺し、紛れのないものを集めて書き記すものである。

The second district burned down. Nishi-Hirano-cho, Fuku-cho, and Sankaku-yashiki (triangular mansion) - all these areas completely collapsed. The areas around Koza-bashi bridge and Amiuchi-ba (net-casting ground) suffered minor damage. The Saga-cho area collapsed severely, and Aikawa-cho burned down. From Kumai-cho, O-cho, Nakajima-cho to Oshima-cho and Nakajima-cho burned down. Along Fukuyoshi-cho street and Ogawa-cho, near Hachiman-bashi bridge, three houses survived in the midst of the fire. Hamaguri-cho partially survived, while Kuroe-cho and Sankura-ji temple burned down. Eitai-ji temple gate area and Yamamoto-cho Nishi-yokocho burned down. From Hamaguri-cho Kaneko-yokocho, commonly called "Naka-ura," the mansion of Matsudaira Dewa-no-kami burned down. From there, two or three houses survived near "Gatakuri-bashi" bridge, where the fire stopped. This fire burned from three locations simultaneously. Another location was Wakura, where Kita-Honjo daichi, Saka-no-cho, and other daichi areas burned down. Additionally, about one square district of Kuroe-cho burned down.
We inspected the burned areas as described above and examined them thoroughly to ensure nothing was omitted. However, recording the number of collapsed storehouses and such would be fictitious and not useful. We have investigated the truth regarding both mansion districts and urban areas, collecting only reliable information to record here.
