《箱五》坂本二丁目・三丁目が焼失した。御簞笥町は少し焼け込んだが、一丁目より金杉辺・三輪辺・大音寺前辺は崩壊が多い。根岸は特に被害はない。谷中辺は所々傷んでおり、天王寺の五重塔は九輪が落下した。三崎・団子坂辺は少し崩壊した。
《箱六》東叡山（寛永寺）に異常はなく、宿坊のみ少々損壊した。池の端茅町は二丁目・一丁目ともに倒壊した上、残らず焼失した。山側は残っているが、倒壊が多い。切通し下は大崩壊した。仲町は両側とも町が少なく、片側町分は崩壊が多い。御数寄屋町は残らず崩壊した。天神下通の御屋敷は大半が崩壊した。
《箱七》下谷広徳寺前通りの裏表の御組屋敷は、所々に格別の崩壊はない。上野広小路の東側中程より出火して、北大門町・元黒門町・上野町一丁目・二丁目・同朋町・新黒門町・上野の御家来屋敷・御成道【家紋】井上筑後守様（一万石）の東北の角が少し焼失した。大門町・車坂町・長者町一丁目・二丁目・下谷町二丁目代地が焼失した。中御徒士町の片側で火が止まった。三枚橋横丁では鈴木・石川・酒巻・福井・山崎様が焼失した。三枚橋角より中根様が半焼した。大沼・大塚・山木・太田・大塚が焼失した。皆川・松井様は残っている。成田・堀江・田村・飯原・利根川・杉山・真下・津田・平野・大岩様、杉江・山本様が焼失した。赤井・山田・戸谷・藤川・岡村様が焼失した。伊藤様は火の中にて半分残った。太田・杉田・前田・清水・藤安様が焼失した。三谷・長谷川・中西様は残っている。船橋・谷村・渡辺・速水・川島・出口・村田様が焼失した。加納様は半分焼失した。

Fire broke out and only this area burned. Yamabushi-chō, Okitte-chō, and Yamazaki-chō suffered much collapse damage.
[Box 5] Sakamoto 2-chōme and 3-chōme burned down. Otansu-chō suffered some fire damage, but from 1-chōme toward Kanasugi, Miwa, and Daionji-mae areas, there was much collapse. Negishi suffered no particular damage. The Yanaka area was damaged in various places; the five-story pagoda of Tennō-ji lost its finial (kurin). The Misaki and Dangozaka areas suffered some collapse.
[Box 6] Tōeizan (Kan'ei-ji Temple) suffered no special damage, though its lodging quarters (shukubō) were slightly damaged. Ikenohata Kayachō's 2-chōme and 1-chōme both collapsed and then burned completely. The hillside area remained, though with much collapse. Below Kiridōshi suffered severe collapse. Nakachō had few buildings on both sides, and the single-frontage sections suffered much collapse. Osukeya-chō collapsed entirely. The estates along Tenjin-shita-dōri were largely destroyed.
[Box 7] The back and front of the retainer estates (kumiyashiki) along Shitaya Kōtoku-ji-mae-dōri suffered no particular collapse in various places. Fire broke out from the middle of the east side of Ueno Hirokōji, burning Kita-Daimon-chō, Moto-Kuromon-chō, Ueno-chō 1-chōme and 2-chōme, Dōbō-chō, Shin-Kuromon-chō, the retainer estates of Ueno, and along Onari-dō, the northeast corner of the residence of Lord Inoue, Governor of Chikugo (10,000 koku) [family crest], suffered slight fire damage. Daimon-chō, Kurumazaka-chō, Chōja-chō 1-chōme and 2-chōme, and the Shitaya-chō 2-chōme substitute plots burned. The fire stopped at one side of Naka-okachimachi. In Sanmaibashi Yokochō, the residences of Suzuki, Ishikawa, Sakamaki, Fukui, and Yamazaki burned. From the corner of Sanmaibashi, the Nakane residence was half-burned. Ōnuma, Ōtsuka, Yamaki, Ōta, and Ōtsuka burned. Minakawa and Matsui survived. Narita, Horie, Tamura, Iihara, Tonegawa, Sugiyama, Mashimo, Tsuda, Hirano, Ōiwa, Sugie, and Yamamoto burned. Akai, Yamada, Toya, Fujikawa, and Okamura burned. The Itō residence was half-saved despite being in the midst of the fire. Ōta, Sugita, Maeda, Shimizu, and Fujiyasu burned. Mitani, Hasegawa, and Nakanishi survived. Funabashi, Tanimura, Watanabe, Hayami, Kawashima, Deguchi, and Murata burned. The Kanō residence was half-burned.
