現代語訳
町並みの夫役等の勤務についてはこれまでの通りとし、
町並みに出張している地面の分について別段負担を
かけることはしない。
一、新町往来に出張している地面の分、土蔵二ヶ所が
ある土地を自由にするための趣意金五両を有賀
治右衛門から新町に差し出すこと。
右の通り双方の申し分について仲裁を受けて納得した
上は、今後違約することはない。よって
取替一札を交わすものである。

the performance of town row duties such as corvée labor shall continue as before,
and no additional burden shall be imposed
on the portion of land extending into the town row.
Article 1: For the freedom of the land where two storehouses
exist on the portion extending into the Shinmachi public road, five ryō as consideration money
shall be paid by Ariga Jizaemon to Shinmachi.
Having received mediation regarding the claims of both parties as stated above and reached
agreement, there shall be no breach of this arrangement hereafter. Therefore,
we exchange this written agreement as witness.
