貴殿御所持之酒屋我等仮【借】受酒造仕
候ニ諸事取極メ之事左之通
一酒樽【株】壱本但し九百被【石】造酒造道具不残車
屋壱ヶ所并ニ家附之諸道具等迄別紙之通相添
一家賃之義当七月より来【亥の誤写】七月迄金拾八両毎年
右之定ニ而盆前ニ急度差上可申候尤暮ニ
御入用之節ハ半金位ハ壱割之利足附ニ而盆前
迄御貸可申候又其【は】諸代品物代ニ而茂御取替
御座候ハヽ右家賃之内ニ而差引相渡可申候御契
約仕置候事
一御伝馬壱軒役并屋根替諸道具破損等ハ
私方ニ而可仕候大破損之義ハ御手伝奉存候【可被下候譬】ハ
普請其外建修復等之類は貴殿方ニ而
可被成候事
一造酒御運上金壱歩宛私方ニ而御上納可仕
候事

一札の件について
貴殿がお持ちの酒屋を私どもが借り受けて酒造りをいたします件について、諸事取り決めの内容は以下の通りです。
一、酒樽一本（ただし九百升分）を醸造する酒造道具一式、車屋一か所、並びに家に付属する諸道具等まで、別紙の通り添付いたします。
一、家賃の件について、当七月より来七月まで金十八両、毎年この定めで盆前に必ず差し上げます。もっとも年末にご入用の節は、半金程度でしたら一割の利息を付けて盆前までお貸しいたします。また、その他諸代金を品物代でお取り替えいただける場合は、家賃の内から差し引いてお渡しいたします。このようにご契約いたします。
一、伝馬一軒役並びに屋根替え、諸道具破損等は私どもで行います。大きな破損については貴殿にお手伝いいただきたく存じますが、普請その他建物修復等の類は貴殿の方で行っていただくことといたします。
一、造酒運上金一歩ずつ私どもで上納いたします。
地代・水車運上の件については貴殿の方でお出しいただくようご契約いたします。
一、酒屋がご入用でお断りがございましても、その年より五か年の間は明け渡しいたしません。商売柄、急に止めてしまっては掛け方の取り集めに迷惑をかけますので、このようにご契約いたします。私どもから止める節は前年にお断り申し上げます。家賃諸色の件、この先いかような事がございましても、この取り決めの通り少しも値上げ値下げはいたしません。
右の条項の趣旨を取り決めました上は、たとえこの先いかような事がございましても少しも違変いたしません。その証文として、よって件の如し。

Document of Agreement
Regarding the matter of our borrowing your sake brewery to conduct sake production, the various terms and conditions are as follows:
1. One sake barrel (specifically for 900 sho), complete sake brewing equipment, one cart house, as well as all household tools and equipment, as detailed in the attached separate document.
1. Regarding house rent: from this July to next July, 18 ryo in gold annually, to be paid without fail before the Bon festival according to this agreement. Should you need funds at year-end, we can lend up to about half the amount with 10% interest until before Bon. Also, if other fees can be exchanged for goods, we will deduct from the rent and pay accordingly. We make this contract agreement.
1. The post-station horse service duty, roof replacement, and repair of various tools shall be handled by us. For major damage, we hope for your assistance, but construction and other building repairs shall be handled by you.
1. The sake brewing tax of one bu each shall be paid by us to the authorities.
Regarding land rent and waterwheel taxes, these shall be paid by you according to our contract agreement.
1. Even if you need the sake brewery back and request its return, we will not vacate for five years from that year. Given the nature of our business, suddenly stopping would cause trouble for collecting outstanding debts, so we contract thus. When we decide to stop, we will notify you the previous year. Regarding rent and commodity prices, no matter what happens in the future, there shall be no increases or decreases from this agreement.
Having established the above terms, no matter what may occur in the future, there shall be no changes or violations. As proof thereof, this document is executed.
