舟手頭相勤候間当国三国湊大切ノ所ニ候間相守押ヘ候
様ニ被 仰付候処御請之儀間違之品有之不応 御意御
暇被下其後武州エ立越寓居仕罷有候処 忠昌公御代於
越後被召出家次並世忰太郎左衛門重次共ニ拝知被下置
越前エ御供仕候太郎左衛門重次跡ハ故有テ断絶仕候

駿州田子に居住し、北条家に代々仕え、舟大将を勤めていたという。北
条家の感状や古状など、その他虎の朱印の書付など数通を今も持ち伝え
所持している。北条家滅亡以後、秀康公に召し出され、北条家にて
舟手頭を勤めていたので、当国三国湊は大切な所であるから相守り押さえる
ように仰せ付けられたところ、御請けの儀で間違いの品があり、御意に応じず、御
暇を下された。その後武州へ立ち越し寓居していたところ、忠昌公の御代に
越後にて召し出され、家次並びに世子太郎左衛門重次共に拝知を下され置かれ、
越前へ御供した。太郎左衛門重次の跡は故あって断絶した。

During Lord Tadamasa's reign, Genna 6th year (1620), year of the metal monkey, recalled to service
● Yamamoto Shinano no Kami Ietsugu《home province: Suruga, birth province: Izu, family name: Gen (Minamoto), original name: Tarōzaemon》
He resided in Tago in Suruga Province and served the Hōjō family for generations, performing the role of naval commander. He still possesses and has handed down several letters of commendation from the Hōjō family, ancient documents, and written records with Tora's vermillion seal. After the fall of the Hōjō family, he was summoned by Lord Hideyasu. Since he had served as naval commander under the Hōjō family, he was ordered to guard and control Mikuni Port in this province, which was an important location. However, there were mistakes in his acceptance of duties, and as he did not comply with the lord's wishes, he was given leave. Thereafter, he went to Musashi Province and resided there temporarily. During Lord Tadamasa's reign, he was summoned in Echigo, and both Ietsugu and his heir Tarōzaemon Shigetsugu were granted stipends and accompanied the lord to Echizen. The lineage of Tarōzaemon Shigetsugu was later discontinued for certain reasons.
