州共に一 郡（くん）に一人ッヽの司あり。これ内所と
いひ旦那さんといふ。一郡の司たるゆへ智恵（ちゑ）

かせき也。日本。人の目にはすきとわからぬ事

此袋の中或は肥（こえ）或はしぼむ。治めかたのよき故に
ふくるゝ事有。又あしきゆへにふくるゝ事有といふ。
又袋の口 笑（わら）ふがごとくなれば其身の口も笑ふがご
とく。袋のふくれぬ時は其身の頬（ほう）がふくれるといふ。
いづれやりての革（かは）巾着（きんちやく）に身のなきと。川太郎の
あたまに水のなきはつまらぬ物と云はんか。され共

州共に一郡に一人ずつの司がいる。これを内所といい旦那さんという。一郡の司であるゆえに知恵は十分にあるけれども、一郡ずつの了見次第であるため、一国に対してははっきりした決まりがなく、皆てんでんばらばらである。日本人の目には全く分からないことが多い。これがすなわち国風であるという。また一郡に一人ずつ旦那さんの下に立って、すべてを取り仕切りをする老女がいる。これをやり手という。この官職の者は一つの袋を
