甚（はなはた）こそばゆがりてこけつまろひつ笑（わら）ひ
しゆへ。鉾（ほこ）のしたゞりいのごとなり股（もゝ）の
付根へこりかたまつて一ツの島（しま）となる。
これを南膽部州豊葦原（なんせんぶしうとよあしはら）大（たい）日本国と
号（ごう）す。又おのころ島といふも彼いのこの響
なるべし。其後これを六十六ヶ国にわかち。
一国の内にて又 郡（こほり）といふ物をわけられ
しこと。これ皆様御そんじの御事也。

然るに其比又 胡弉諾胡弉冊（こさなきこさなみ）とて婦夫（ふうふ）の
御神おはします。此神は変（へん）手子立 尊（のみこと）より変（へん）
神（しん）七代目の御神にて。異神（いしん）五代のとゝま【「さま」では】
かゝま【「さま」では】にてわたらせ給ふ。此神大のふらつ
きよにてましますにより。負けぬ気に成り
給ひ。おれも国といふものを拵（こしらへ）て見んと思召。
天（あま）の浮橋（うきはし）は釜（かま）の鱚釣（きすつり）よりも眩睴（けんうん）なれば
今戸さんやの橋の上より。鮫（さめ）のかま□□□

芦原は甚だくすぐったがって転がり回って笑ったので、鉾の雫が芋のように股の付け根に凝り固まって一つの島となった。これを南閻浮提州豊葦原大日本国と号する。また「おのころ島」というのも、あの芋の響きであろう。その後これを六十六ヶ国に分かち、一国の内でまた郡というものを分けられたこと、これは皆様ご存知の御事である。
