この心経（般若心経）を五分の宗旨に分けて、（釈尊の）一代の教えを収める趣旨などを、誠に深く考究され（説き明かされ）たこと、このような深い教義の数々は、古の祖師たちもいまだ述べることのできなかったことだと、人々は皆、申し感嘆したのであった。

The way in which he expounded the Heart Sutra by dividing it according to the five divisions of doctrine, setting forth the principles that encompass the entirety of the Buddha's lifetime of teachings — such profound interpretations as these were things that even the ancient patriarchs had never been able to articulate, and all people who heard of this expressed their deep admiration and wonder.
