現代語訳
正月4日・7月10日は亥の日、2月5日・8月11日は寅の日、3月6日・9月12日は午の日で、家作り開始を忌むべし。
これらの日に縄の結び目を作ると火を結び込むと言われている。良い土蔵の焼失もこのような原因によるものであろう。
棟上げを忌む日
正月・2月は卯の日、3月・4月は巳の日、5月・6月は未の日、7月・8月は酉の日、9月・10月は亥の日、11月・12月は丑の日
暦にある天火の日には高い所での造作を忌むべきである。
毎月の両日大悪日 文殊菩薩の伝来であるという

この日は万事に大凶で、祈念をすればかえって災難が来るほどの悪日である。
毎日の十方塞がり
卯（1日目）の方、辰（2日目）巳の間、午（3日目）の方、未（4日目）申の間、酉（5日目）の方、戌（6日目）亥の間、子（7日目）の方、丑（8日目）寅の間、天（9日目）：高い所に登らず屋根普請無用、地（10日目）：土中に入らず土を動かさず
例えば朔日に東の方へ行こうと思っても凶方なので回り道をするか、または西の方へ百歩ほど行き引き返して卯の方へ行けばよいとされる。
英語訳
The 4th day of the 1st month and 10th day of the 7th month are days of the Boar; the 5th day of the 2nd month and 11th day of the 8th month are days of the Tiger; the 6th day of the 3rd month and 12th day of the 9th month are days of the Horse - construction should be avoided on these days.
If one ties knots in rope on these days, it is said to "tie in fire." The burning of even good storehouses is likely due to such causes.
Days to avoid ridge-raising ceremonies:
1st and 2nd months: days of the Rabbit; 3rd and 4th months: days of the Snake; 5th and 6th months: days of the Sheep; 7th and 8th months: days of the Rooster; 9th and 10th months: days of the Boar; 11th and 12th months: days of the Ox
On days marked as "heavenly fire" in the calendar, construction work at high places should be avoided.
Monthly Great Inauspicious Days (said to be transmitted from Manjushri Bodhisattva):
1st month: 7th and 20th days; 2nd month: 2nd and 9th days; 3rd month: 21st and 23rd days; 4th month: 18th and 25th days; 5th month: 6th and 23rd days; 6th month: 17th and 23rd days; 7th month: 8th and 23rd days; 8th month: 18th and 25th days; 9th month: 3rd and 22nd days; 10th month: 1st and 3rd days; 11th month: 2nd and 20th days; 12th month: 9th and 23rd days
These days are extremely inauspicious for all matters - so unlucky that prayers would actually bring disaster.
Daily Directional Blockages (Juppō-fusagari):
Direction of Rabbit (1st day), between Dragon and Snake (2nd day), direction of Horse (3rd day), between Sheep and Monkey (4th day), direction of Rooster (5th day), between Dog and Boar (6th day), direction of Rat (7th day), between Ox and Tiger (8th day), Heaven (9th day): do not climb high places, no roof repairs; Earth (10th day): do not enter underground, do not disturb soil
For example, if one wishes to go east on the 1st day of the month, since it is an inauspicious direction, one should take a detour or go west for about a hundred steps, then turn back and go toward the Rabbit direction.
