燃え出せば大火になるだろう。丙（ひのえ）は火の兄、丁（ひのと）は火の弟である。兄は竈（かまど）の火、弟は灯火等である。また寅卯は木に属し火を生じ、戌辰丑未は土に属し火より土を生ずる。万物は焼けば皆土となる理である。また土より火をも生ずるのである。土は五行の母であり、万物は土の気を受けて生ずるものである。
焼け跡で家を建て始める前に地祭りの祈祷をすべきである。不浄の場所は壺を取り除き、四尺四寸、深さも同じく古い土を掘り捨てて清い土を入れ替えて新宅を普請すべきである。不浄除けの法はあるが、求めに応じて差し上げよう。

The elder brother represents the fire of the hearth (kamado), while the younger brother represents lamp fires and such. Also, the Tiger and Rabbit belong to Wood and give birth to Fire, while Dog, Dragon, Ox, and Sheep belong to Earth, and Earth is born from Fire.
