七つ目を吉というのは大いに間違いである。

火元は本郷丸山より深川海辺また牛島辺まで。十九日巳の刻、小石川
新鷹匠町火元。また西の刻、糀町火元。二口にて山王辺、御曲輪内外、
大小名、大概江戸町々残らず芝海辺まで。蔵数およそ九千余焼失。
三日三晩にて火が鎮まった。武蔵鑑に詳しい。
一、去る申年十一月より酉正月まで八十日余りの干ばつにて、同二十一日大雹。

The years of Tekisatsu (calamitous stars) are as follows: One of the four is one's
birth year, the opposite is the seventh year, the left is the fourth year,
and the right is the tenth year. During these four years, all matters are extremely
inauspicious. It is greatly mistaken to say that the seventh year is auspicious for married couples.

This is something everyone knows, but I record it so that children and women can easily understand.
Great Fires of Edo: Years and Months with the Twenty-Eight Constellations and Five Elements
1. Meireki 3rd year, Hinoto-Tori year (Tsui constellation, Fire day, Fire of Okuyama) From the Dragon hour of the 18th day of the 1st month until the 20th day.
The fire started from Hongō Maruyama and spread to Fukagawa waterfront and also to the Ushijima area. On the 19th day at the Snake hour, a fire started in Koishikawa Shin-Takashōmachi. Also at the Monkey hour, a fire started in Kōji-machi. With two sources, around Sannō and inside and outside the palace grounds, great and small daimyo, and generally all the towns of Edo without exception up to the Shiba waterfront. The number of storehouses burned was approximately over 9,000. The fire was extinguished after three days and three nights. Details are in the Musashi Kagami.
1. From the 11th month of the previous Monkey year until the 1st month of the Rooster year, there was a drought for over 80 days, and on the 21st day of the same month, there was large hail.
