Fire spread from Takanawa Ushimachi as far as Asakusa; emergency shelters (*osukui-goya*) were erected at various locations. The fire also reached Shiba Shinmonzen Daichi (a substitute residential area) and Shimbori-bata.
1. **The 8th year of Bunka (same era), the year Kanoto-Hitsuji (辛未, 1811)** — 11th day of the 2nd month, lower portion of the Hour of the Sheep (c. 2–3 p.m.)
